From the view point that he clearly isn't part of GvE's plans so getting rid of him is a great but of business by the club. If we can somehow convince Brisbane that Mitchell would be a great signing and the scum to take Bernardo as a replacement for Rogic, GvE will have done wonders axing our imports and players not good enough for his style of play.
Shit move though. If GvE wasn't a complete con artist, Tiago would tear it up in a ball playing defensive midfielder role or even as one of the ball playing centre backs if our fullbacks aren't immediately up the field. At his best he provided steel and experience at the back and provided us with other options when bringing the ball forward. At his worst he gave away free-kicks/penalties because of rash decision making and brain-snaps. You just never knew what you were going to get with him from game to game.
I would rather the stability and security that Taylor Regan provides any day.....he is "Newy" through and through.
Not the worst import to play for this club, but far from being one of the best either.
Totally agree stopper - was experience at the back, but also a brainsnap waiting to happen. He provided great flair and creativity (entertainment) and i loved his enthusiasm for the club, but i have never thought he has been the answer at the back the way Ljubo was.
