I'm honestly surprised the italian hasn't been able to hook them up with a viable and effective list of names of who could take that team with everyone he would have seen going through the ranks of coaching over the years.
The Sydney FC board are the problem. No coach would go near the place until Uncle Frank and friends are long gone.
heh, only just realised/noticed/was informed that neil young has retired from playing & is now perth's gk coach.
OK
He had tried making a return with them on field but I heard him being interviewed prior to the recent Jets game and the consequences of the illness after he was hurt here are still troubling him. He was only making 30 mins of training before it was dramatically affecting him and his recovery for the next days training.
Good on Perth for keeping him involved, when $'s are so important they could have treated him very differently.
Sydney axe Gary Cole

Which is probably a good thing, because if he didnt do anything what was he there for?

mariners have agreed to sell rogic for $600k to reading. should be gone before the weekend apparently.
his contract with ccm expires in may
OK
Good luck to him. thank god he won't be around when we play them next.
According to "Australia Football" on facebook. Channell Nine Perth reported that Billy Mehmet has quit the Glory to move to an asian side but there has been no word from the club.
I have done a search on the Channell Nine site and i can't find a thing on this. Could be bs, who knows. Can't say "Australian Football" would be a reliable source.
EDIT: Ok. They have now posted this comment from Billy Mehmets twitter page apparently.
From Billy Mehmet's twitter account: @billy_mehmet
"Sad to be leaving Perth glory had a great time with the boys and the fans but it had to be done"
From the man himself...
