i just had a look at WSW twitter account, i think this is the announcment of the captain, not michael ballack (although both would probably work well together)
seems unusual to call a presser just to announce a captain, usually that would happen in conjunction with something else. Maybe will be announcing a player, just not Ballack.

seems weird that fox would turn up for a captains announcement, unless they just want to cover their bases just in case its a player signing too.
i would see why they'd have cameras (for the nightly news etc), but not for a captain unveiling. did they even cross live for the launch of the club?

Foxtel ran an ad tonight for the first round match between Perth and Brisbane.
Its just Smeltz sitting in the locker room as they go though last years GF.

FoxSports have announced 3 new shows, and FoxSports FC is no more. Apparently we will still have to put up with Andy Maher ffs
There is a show called Kickoff prior to the Friday night game @ 630 hosted by Mel and Harper which will preview the weekend
There is a show called The B League on sundays with Sam Mac and some other random (comedy show)
There is a show called Shootout after the final game on sunday with Peacock and Bozza which will review the weekend
Matchday Saturday will return with Peacock, Bozza and Rudan covering EPL and HAL
Monday will be the Highlights Show with Simon Hill and Rudan.
