All I seen today was a shit game with one team of big time charlies not putting in the effort and graft required to win being rolled by a side who didn't do anything other than work harder and battle away manfully. I would expect them to make Semis but they won't win a comp

Ireland saved their arse on 3-4 occassions

Wouldn't say Maj was very good at all. He can play much better and was only involved in little fits and then drifted out of the game for large parts

Bloke who I thought was poor today was Jobe. Gave the ball away 3-4 times in the defensive half and put the side needlessly under pressure with what can only be described as some type of colour blindness issue as he seemed to pick Weston players out for no reason when he was under no pressure at all and wasn't close to picking out a team mate.

Thought a bloke of his experience should have wanted the ball much more and be getting way more involved in attack and also way more involved in defence.

Whatever he is getting paid the club should be expecting and receiving a lot more than they got.

Matter of fact the biggest issue that Jaffas have to me is working out their attack. Someone has to be benched. Don't see the front 3 of Faj Kale and Maj working. Looks good on paper but in reality to me they are carrying 3 blokes who ain't offering much in the chasing department when they don't have the ball

No Goodchild, Maguire, Smith, Hughes and pretty sure some others too

Quoted for accuracy. All top-notch point blank saves. Not the greatest game on a heavy pitch, as others have noted, but it really should have been a three or four-goal margin. Wonder when the pressure starts to build at Lambton?

Richley a late withdrawal on the day, and Sullini also sidelined. Not that it should be an excuse, Azzurri looked abject and Edgeworth very sharp. Very different looking Edgeworth to last year.

Congrats on your good fortune today FR! Hope you spent it wisely.

Lose 1 game after winning 1 and suddenly the pressure is mounting! Tbh I reckon that's ridiculous. If they continue losing for 3-4 more games or just scrapping draws, then yeah, the pressure would be mounting, but not a lost after a win.

I think you are right - too early to say Tanch is under pressure, they didn't start well last year either I believe. They have only won 1 of 3 though. With Magic, Edgy and Olympic coming up - it could be interesting to see how Lambton go. They did appear to go through the motions yesterday.

Charlestown were obviously missing some good players last night. But 7-0? That still isn't a good sign for them.

How good is Ireland looking - a question for guys at their games. Is he looking good enough to step up the ALeague level, even as a backup?
