From what I've seen of both teams this season, I live away these days so I only get the BAR TV games,it looks like the Bears to me. It ain't a fight or a footrace, so big and fast won't be good enough and big and slow won't be either. It's a game of football and the Bears play it much better than the Jaffas, if they didn't have Danny Ireland they wouldn't even be part of the discussion

At this time of year match fitness isn't the problem, managing injuries is, so I think the week off is an advantage
just heard that magic have games lined up against mariners youth next sunday at magic park, and with jets and sydney fc to come mid next month..
Those games against the Jets and Smurfs are these HAL Clubs fielding the HAL or the NYL sides???

I interpreted in as being the Sunday after ie the 21st September and not this Sunday the 14th September NPL GF Day
Probably using the nothing games to trial the 10 players they are signing for 2015.

Its the a-league youth teams with the possible inclusion of a couple of first team players
Who have Magic signed ? I have not heard of many signings at all and was just thinking it will all kick off after the GF

all has signed is Kale bradbury, mick finlayson and archy (keeper from lakes)
And there is still plenty of points to spare in our PPS.
Is Kale 100% done as I heard that he might have been going to Sydney to play .
what about the other clubs . Having watched a bit of Maitland I am not sure they will have to strengthen that much as got a good team already and Weston never seem to lose players so they will likely build on what they already have.
I seen Azzuri a few times and I think they will be the underdogs for next year.

I think Jaffas will get up today in a tight match
I would like Weston to win but I feel it will come down to better keepers, no disrespect for Weston keeper but jaffas keeper is quality, jobe playing or not will be a key as well
