    Beating the shot clock

    M bridges scored in the 44' v adelaide March 15, 2013.
Counting the 2nd half of that game & 3 full games since we seemed to have been a little unlucky.
    1+48+94(added time)+94+94= 331mins since last goal.

and Wello next week over there. Im sure we can put 3 in....

I remember years ago in the Breakers days we went I think it was nearly 700 mins without a goal. Over 6 matches!!

Played over at Birmingham Gardens on a sunday arvo the Friday night had been called off due to weather!!

Breakers down 1-0 to Adelaide City in the 2nd half and everyone was up in the eastern stand as there had been a massive thunderstorm that arvo. Warren Spink scrambled one in from a few yards out from a right wing cross to level things up and break the goal drought. Place went bananas. All 2-3k of them One of the ugliest goals you will ever see though

In typical Newy fashion the parity was only short lived as less than 60 seconds later Damien Mori slipped through the offside trap and finished with aplomb and win the game 2-1. Can remember the finish clearly Started about 2 foot wide of the post and curled in
