I can't remember where I read it (and I'm not sure it will even matter), but do Brisbane have a few players missing for this one??

Round 6 Preview –Newcastle Jets v Brisbane Roar

Overall – 25 games between the two teams (inc. Queensland Roar)
    Jets Wins – 9, Roar Wins – 9, Draws – 7

    At Newcastle
    Jets Wins – 2, Roar Wins – 7, Draws – 5

Leading Scorers in fixture – J Griffiths (Jets) with 9 goals, Reinaldo (Roar) – 6 goals.

    Average Home crowd – 10548

    Key facts:
    • The Jets started off the first 3 home games against the Roar with 3 losses. The first 5 visits to Brisbane, however, reaped 5 wins.
    • 7 of Brisbane’s 9 wins against the Jets have come at Hunter Stadium.
    • Joel Griffiths scored in 8 straight games against the Brisbane Roar.
    • The largest crowd in a match between these two clubs was not the 3-2 finals win in Season 3, but in fact a Round 9 clash in Season 2. The crowd of 16061 was 40 more people than the Preliminary Final match.

Heskey will only be good for 45 mins max for a while yet. I reckon Taggart is guaranteed a start for a few weeks yet

Gallaway in doubt according to the Herald, with Pepper likely to start.

    Would prefer Goodwin there tbh.

think normal service will be resumed this weekend, and we will loose. but i hope we play to the same standard as the last two weeks (barring the last 20 odd minutes of each match when we seem to encourage the opposition to score)
