    The David Moyes Game

Although beating Brisbane Roar at home, a lot of us GVEout kind of characters are happy to point out that we were at home, the conditions played the biggest factor in us actually winning, and Brisbane had half of their starting lineup out. So let the GVEout bashing recommence!

So the Tuesday Club, an Arsenal podcast, for a while last season were playing a game called The David Moyes Game. They played this when Arsene Wenger was looking more likely to wind up in a mental hospital than holding a trophy, and the whole game is based around choosing a new manager for your team. The reason it's called the David Moyes Game is when the Tuesday Club played it, no matter how lengthy their discussions were, the answer always came down to David Moyes.

So, hypothetically GVE has been sacked. You have to pick a new coach. Who is it, and why?

    Miron for teh lulz

Seriously though it's between Miron, Milicic or Mark Jones imo. Jones the riskiest (where is he now?)

I can't believe Rudan has his badges

    Milicic.

Served his apprenticeship under two good coaches playing different sort of styles.

Scored the first ever A-League goal for the club.

And as an assistant, doesn't dress up in the kit on game day.

Should get Aurelio Vidmar. He would love looking after a pissant town like Newy.

Milicic got the flick from Con as he didn't think he was pulling his weight, plus he'll have Bridge/Labi/Topor/Puzz/Ante saying "don't go back to that basket case" !

Rudan will be at an A-League club sooner rather than later - worth considering.

    Papas definitely a chance.

I think Jonesy has burned his bridges.

At the end of the day it will be Deans - cheapest option and already annointed as successor by GVE.

If you don't come up with the answer of David Moyes you aren't playing it right.

Rudan won't leave Sydney, he's waiting for Popa to leave....who'll be at palace in a year, or Japan.
Papas will take Aloisi's gig at the heart.
Okon will get Mulvey's job at the roar, when he leaves to take Papas's gig in India.

Postecoglu's star will rise further at the WC, and he'll be poached by Chelsea, GVE wil get Arnold's gig in Japan so Arnie can be socceroos gaffer. Leaving the jets job open.....

Postecoglu's star will rise further after winning the FA cup after being down 2-nil in the final with three minutes to play.... The team he beats, Man U, offer him massive coin to leave chelsea (siting visions of their chapions league win 99) abramahic has stopped pouring coin into Chelsea and is focussed on Russia buying the World Cup in 2018, so Moyes is out of gig.

Ray Wilkins get the job at Chelsea as he should never have been booted in the first place, leaving David Moyes without a job, and the jets without a coach. He is offered the chance to live by the sea and own a coal mine, he takes it.

    David Moyes, next jets gaffer.

That's how you play the game.

    Ffs, isnt it obvious?

Shippo's played with Coal miners at weston and westy.
Moyes wants to get his miners playing, and his players mining.

No replacement should have already coached in the A-League. assistants whilst good often are just going to make the same mistakes at the Head did previously. I say look to new blood or a man like Moyes, look what he's done in the past few weeks with a mid table team like United

    Bump.

My predictions are little ahead of time, but cards are falling into place.
