$75 for no games (with a "come along to MV in Round 13" freebie)

For a dollar less, I've picked up an Adelaide 3 game membership and can see the Jets play twice on the road.

Conclusion jumping is in full swing.

    Two theories as to why.....

    1. We're about to be sold.
    2. We're not about to be sold.

Sub committee members will be sitting out the front of today's game from 4:00pm.

If you want to share any ideas or just come say hi, come and see us. We will be there until a bit before kickoff

I saw a few people ask about colours in the Questions for Lawrie thread. We asked the club about this at the last 2 meetings so i thought i'd move the discussion here to prevent clogging question thread.

To be fair, prior to raising it the club weren't aware this was still an issue.

The response we received was has been that a straw poll (conducted at the member's meeting with the FFA at Worker's Club) was where the issue was first raised and the club subsequently undertook a survey on this topic and the gold and E&C did not come out as the top results. I took this as the discussion ended there, though I said that if the questions are still being asked then clearly the reults haven't been well communicated and that creates a need for it to be done again to decide once and for all.

However, we will ask the question on the pod for sure.

    Who did they survey?

Some of the reasons for not changing that I have heard raised in the past were so stupid like I just got a shirt for my kid last year now I have to buy another one, it's nonsense, your kid doesn't have to get a new kit every time the team does.

The jets need their own identity, something they once had that was uniquely jets not only for the HAL but also Newcastle.

I still can't believe we have not taken back our identity that was stripped from the club under Tinkler's reign.

Nothing will change though, you could have every single member agree but it won't matter ledmans colours include the same red and blue shades as the knights, so that's that settled.
