It could actually be an opportunity to get a fringe socceroo in who isn't getting game time. I can't think of any names off the top of my head.

Somewhere I read people saying Ryan Griffiths will get re-signed now. Not really a right back, but makes for a good story. particularly if Hoole gets moved back to cover.

So....Jets thinking of Ibini if the Burns deal falls through according to the Herald today.
Thoughts?
Honestly I never rated Ibini, regardless of him being a gypo. I was very surprised overseas teams were looking at him and he actually got a move, because he's nothing special except for running. Besides, he is just here until he heads overseas on another sojourn.
If we don't get Burns, I'd be happier with Ryan Griffiths instead ahead of Ibini.

Ibini is an interesting one... neither he or griffiths are as good as burns is/can be. I really hope we can sign him for the rest of the season and maybe longer.
Also interesting to read we are interested in Hersi. It seems we are actually being linked to some quality A-league players like Hersi and Berisha. I cannot remember last time we were in the running to sign players like this!

I agree with you about being linked with quality players. It's good! I see Berisha is possibly a target for Arnie over in Japan too. We wouldn't compete with those $$
