Good places to have a kick?

Used to be a few good places around, but they seem to be few and far between.

Post up your favourites with a few pros and any cons!

Argenton - Tend to leave their nets up occasionally through the season. Not a bad pitch either.

Warners Bay - used to have their Kick Board, goals down the middle of the field.

Southy - Probably one of the best. Used to have "portable" goals down the bottom field, with nets and fences.

    Swansea + Belmont - Have a kickboard

Belswans - leave goals up all year round. Nice fences prevent balls from going 283739287 metres.

There's a few of us that have a kick at the uni, did yesterday from about 7pm, alright till the mozzies kick in.

    Pros
    - ok field (grass pretty long and spongey)
    - goals

    Cons
    - death by mosquito
    - sometimes in use

Rathys is awesome to have a kick at.

    Pros:
    Concrete wall to bounce off,
Two goals with permanent nets and fences behind setup,
During the non-cricket season the rooball posts are always up so if you can manage 8 or more people, you can have a really decent small sided game with goals,
    Close to shops

    Cons:
    Gypoville
    OK

I've been having kicks down on Newy beach most arvos..

    Pros:
    Crackly-bits-of-crumpet sauntering about..
    Plenty of options for run/swim/build-your-own-goals..

    Cons:
Afore mentioned saucepots are usually there with roid-ripped wankers..
    Sand..

can vouch for rathys. good ground usually mowed nicely.

Southy used to be great, until the goals were chained to fencing around the bottom field, couple of years ago we used to get 10-30 blokes there on a weekday afternoon for a game. used to be republic of novocastria v sporting 2285, even SD rocked up a couple of times, mitchy, deadset had a 40 yard screamer disallowed as the keeper palmed it through the side of the net and no one would let him have it.
