My early early early predictions for top 4.
    Maitland
    Valentine
    Belswans
    West Wallsend

One of those years where anything can happen considering all the changes to coaching etc
Will be eventfull and entertaining i believe.

    Who have Thornton signed?
VPFC had nothing last season in NBN and I doubt they will be much other than top 4 at best in NEWFM.

Id speculate that Thornton are likely to have picked up players who have moved on from other clubs, with all the NPL changes + also alot of changes to coaches among clubs id say there would be alot of players on the move.

Thornton really should have applied for an NPL licence, thats the only thing that may stop quality players from coming/staying in future years

Agreed. Maitland should win it, but Valentine would be expecting top 2.

My early prediction is Valo - seen them play ok in NBN last year and if they have held onto most of squad as suggested they will be favourites.

Also Belswans everyone was talking about lat season should be strong and I here they have signed a few Central Coast players who were at Jaffas last year.

Maitland were close last year and have a good team and go close every year and will be interesting to see how they are as I believe there new coach has brought some quality in from NBN clubs.

West Wallsend I am tld are in all sorts and will be weak again

Thornton will be interesting and have a good coach although I dont consider them a contender they should make finals.

    For me

    1. Valo
    2. Maitland
    3. Belswans
    4. Thornton

I'd expect about the same as most clubs, they lost Trent (young red headed midfielder) to Weston U22's, one semi regular to the money at Singleton and one to Barnsley. Blake Glennie retired but I really thought he was disappointing last season anyway and the younger keeper to Adamstown.

Pre season starts in full flight this coming Tuesday but prior to xmas they had six or seven new players joining in for a kick on Wednesdays.

Young Trent big loss he is quality good to see him go to state league but his good enough, glennie won't really be a loss I think from what I heard had a lot of run ins with players at club

I wouldn't put West Wallsend in my top 4 lots loads of players... My top 4 would be..
    Valentine
    Belswans
    Toronto
    Maitland

Don't know too much about the other teams but Maitland were pretty impressive today at the 5-a-side. Don't know if they were 1st grade players but they did pretty well.

Have been trying to find results online.

What were results in 1st grade?
