Saw them at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in the mid 90's. Awesome show, would love to go again.

I vowed never to go see a band at ANZ again though. Sound is crap and for the most part you are a million miles from the stage.

    Ahhhh nice mate..
Yeah I have never seen Acca Dacca before, so figured I should get in while they are still going around..
Thats also why I purchased the front floor tickets, being as tall as I am, I can see everything and get up as close as necessary..
Can't expect the best sound at these sort of stadium shows anyway, so should be a good night.. Kingswood are opening too..

Just in case anyone hadn't heard or been off social media..
Scott Weiland (singer for Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, The Wildabouts, etc) passed away on Friday, 48 years old..
Pretty sad stuff, drugs involved of course..

Yesterday was the 11th anniversary of the death of Dimebag Darrell..
I made sure I had a few blacktooth grins last night in his memory..

If this song, particularly the solo (from 3:02) and breakdown (from 3:48) don't make your balls fizz, then nothing ever will..

Hahahaha Dude.. That live clip was from Monsters In Moscow, 1991.. Apparently it was the fifth largest concert of all time, with 1.6 million people there.. (Pantera, ACDC and Metallica headliners)

That was awesome!!! What year was that recorded?
I'm pretty sure my old-boy has a few Glen Campbell records at home, might have to tax em for a little while and give them a proper listen..

The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour aired from 1969 to 1972 in the USA. EDIT: They also did a few tv shows in Early 80's so this could be where it is from

Glen Campbell was probably the most sought after session guitarist in the USA during the 1960's. He could play anything and play it anyway you wanted it played.
On his own records it's all pretty laid back just doing it for the money type stuff. But on other peoples records he's a beast.

Jerry Reed most people know from Smokey and the Bandit but Chet Atkins named him a CGP [Certified Guitar Player] as he was practically untouchable when it came to finger style guitar.

Elvis Presley covered Guitar Man and they could not find a single session player in Vegas that could play the licks. So they rang Reed up and he flew in from his fishing trip and did the gig.

Another great Guitarist of that era is Roy Clark.

Most of us would need to live to a thousand years to experience what those two did during their lives.
