Red Hot Chili Peppers released their new single, Dark Necessities, as a preview to their new album coming out in mid June.

I don't mind it. It's pretty similar to their more recent songs - a distinct difference from the likes of Otherside and Californication.

You would think this would be one of, if not their last album to be released surely.

Looking forward to this album as well. I thought their last effort was their best album for a while.

What format do people listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in ? I'm yet to hear a recording that wasn't compressed / brick-walled. Which is sad considering how good their material and musicianship is.

I listened to their new single off their website.

Otherwise, I've bought their albums in mp3 format. What are you using to listen to them?

I got tickets the other day to Paul Dempsey in Sydney mid-August. Haven't seen him live for years, maybe since 08 or 09 or so. So bloody keen.
    OK

Yamaha CD-S3000 and a Marantz 8B amp hooked up to Triangle Magellan Duetto Bookshelf speakers.

But I find myself listening to a lot of internet radio these days through the computer and a set of powered Yamaha HS-50 monitors which can make your ears bleed with poorly mixed / mastered material.

Anyone with an investment portfolio or a mortgage should never be allowed to enter any music festival / concert.
