    Cold Chisel. They made one very good album. The rest contain a few great singles but overall mostly contain filler. Could be ok live though at times - but not tight like Birdman or Oils in their day.
    Midnight Oil. You need to see them in a small venue and if it was before 1980 then even better. Album wise the first three albums plus the Bird Noises EP are still great listening today.
    Unfortunately, the fourth album 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 was the start of a new era for the band and a lot of fans from the early days like me don't really care much for it or the albums that followed.
    The raw energy captured by the earlier albums was starting to fade as it got drowned out by the political messages. By the time you get to Red Sails in the Sunset I'd go so far as to say you are talking about a completely different band .
    Plague have you spun the first three albums and the EP ? Because chances are you will like them if you don't like the political Oils shit.

    I tried for years to like the Joshua Tree and just never could understand the love. The singles are good but the rest is pretty much filler.
    I'm not a fan but as an album I'd say Achtung Baby is their best album by a mile.
    I like War as well and bits of Rattle and Hum. But it's all very familiar.

    Croppers are MASSIVE in Europe and US.. Its a shame that a band from Tassy are loved and looked-up-to and credited as an influence to all these huge bands over there, but are relatively unheard of here (outside of metal circles anyway)..

    I know the sound is muddy, but for the fact its been recorded on a handycam or whatever, it doesn't sound too bad.. The only thing I'm not down with are the singers clean melodic bits..
    Needs a second guitarist to harmonise with the first.. But that's just my taste..

    Yeah, I don't usually like the screaming vocals much but the clean stuff ruined the song for me as well.

    Trump failed to make an impact in the movie business. He lost a crap load of his daddy's money trying to make movies, and has been bitter with the industry ever since.

    I was referring to him as a producer / director. As an actor he's probably in the top five best Donald Trump impersonators I have seen.

    There's a pretty good 30 for 30 doc about Trump killing the XFL (ok it was a bit of hunting low hanging fruit) but for a bloke that has as many spectacular failures as him, he continually falls upwards.

    That in itself is a skill to be applauded.
