Lineup looks good enough to enjoy, looking forward to seeing some up and coming Aussie bands like that year.

Also, can't wait to see Architects again. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.
I wanna go but doing good things instead. Highly recommend Tonight Alive for their awesome live shows

That sounded like you just had something better do.

But, the good things lineup has some very very bad bands on it. I couldn't justify giving money knowing that the Veronicas, A simple Plan and Skeggs would profit from it. I'll go see ADTR and Dance Gavin Dance side shows maybe and save my ears from the long distance sounds of... I can't even think of a Veronicas song to make a joke here and I'm not going to google it. My search history is pretty disgusting but I can't let it stoop down that low.

Not many bands enjoy playing festivals so I'm not sure any of them would be doing their best work at them. It's more about the dollars or a lack of opportunities for them elsewhere.

Veronicas are going to gather a massive crowd and go off, Simple Plan for all their faults are sensational live but the best band on the billing is playing first up, The Beautiful Momument, an all Girl metal/alt band

They are a mainstream pop band Stanny. Have a bit of a college indy type vibe to them sure - but it's a long way from metal / alt.

I've heard a couple of songs. They are in the same vein as Tonight Alive, Paramore etc. Definitely more pop than metal/alt.

I saw Tonight Alive play with ADTR in 2016 and felt bad for them. They definitely did fit well with the crowd and bombed fairly hard.

Let's not go down the "is it metal" rabbit hole. We'll be here for months and miss all the shitty football we have to look forward to.

Sometimes its great that music goes through phases.

And that those phases end, haha.

it's not easy when sad bastard music is all anyone listens to these days I guess.

Although, I bought the Joy Division albums when they came out so I won't be throwing any stones either.
