tbf the players generally stopped doing that anyway even when we were back in bay 2.
In recent times I can only remember Taggart doing it in the derby.

Bring back the good old days of Griff, Labi, Jobe, etc.

OK we need to make a decision whether we are to remain in bay 60 for next season, or whether we move back to bay 2.
I have removed the previous poll, and added an updated one so supporters can vote again.
This poll will close midnight on Wednesday 2nd April.

Also, comments and constructive criticism is welcomed.
Speak now, as we want as much input from everyone as possible so we can make an informed decision.

    I vote stay.

Out of the sun, good view of the match without craning your neck. Better integration with fellow members in the Western Stand.

Contrary to what is perhaps the popular belief, we have actually recruited well since our move to bay60. I know 4 people who are now participating in bay week in, week out, and see others who I never saw in bay2

Positively we have (until some one game wonders last week) significantly reduced the element of detractors from the bay. People who seemed to show up only to abuse fellow supporters have not followed us across the field. It must have proved too much effort for them.

Tifo wise I still think it is better, or I should say has the potential to be better. I don't think at this stage we have used the bays full potential, however there are other reasons for that.

I would like to see bay 72 above us be the bay 1 equivalent should the move become permenant.

How many night games are we having next year?
    Do the club know this?
    Do they care?
    Can trust their answers?

The afternoon games are way better in bay 60 for energy levels. Do the people in bay 59 and stuff join in with the come on Newcastle, clap jets chants though?

Can confirm the come on Newcastle chant was getting up in bay 3, 4, 5 last week.

One thing I have noticed this season as it goes along the Western Stand is getting fuller and fuller game by game. This is inspite of crowd totals dropping.

For some reason people are moving to the Western Stand anyways.

The Eastern Stand is actually getting sparser and sparser patronage every week

Bay 60 is cooler by 30 times.

I have no comments for or against I just don't want to stand in the direct sun for every family orientated match. 60 at least gives us a 65% reduction of Sun burn and sun blindness

with the influx of younguns the old boys can finally step back, phew.

As for the selected spot, No for 2 or 60, preference will always be for the unattainable behind the goals

I actually don't mind it on the sidelines though. Must just be used to it with most grounds having the away section in corner areas. It's really only Sydney football stadium where we stand behind the posts for easy away travel.

Really interested to hear from those who voted no.

Just cause all the comments have been affirmative, yet two no votes. (Presuming hawk either a) didn't vote, b) voted yes anyway)

i liked the location, but it didnt have the Bay 2 feel. Everyone needs to be aloud in there to support the team regardless if your a active member or no..
More numbers are needed and that should be the main aspect of the squardron..

that is a general FFA problem, that active support must be reserve seating.

in saying that, i think if you try and walk in there on matchday you shouldn't have a problem, besides the NSW opposition games.

I never once have had an active supporter ticket but i've been in the squadron over 10 times, albeit i'm upgrading my GA membership to active supporter this season
