    Time to once again dust off the Griffmas Carols...

    * We Three Griffs
    * Oh Cum, All Griff's Faithful
    * Alan Griffith's Boy Child
    * A Virgin Spotted
    * Do You Hear What Griff Hears?
    * Griff! The Herald's Writers Sing.
    * Away Where There's Danger
    * Big Dong Verily On Griff
    * The First Jo-el!
    * The Lord At First Did Adam Make (after Joel)
    * Little Saint Griff
    * Rocking Around The Griffmas Tree

    Get yourselves down to to the Temple of Griff on Saturday to watch the Lord himself smite Edgeworth in the NPL final. He will wear the GOLD of Newy glory (well, the yellow of Jaffas) and greet the faithful as he returns to the scene of his greatest triumphs. All hail the Lord.
    Come
    See

    Griff owned the legends game. Scored one and when asked if he liked scoring at Gosford said..."its like riding a bike".

    Then at the end insisted the Jets keep the trophy as "a draw means we keep it".

    Griff left??

    When the **** did this happen??

    Don't ever recall him leaving the club at all

    Stop spreading lies and untruths

    I just hope your Podcast does fully capture the moment Griff scored the winning goal in the GF and doesn't reenforce the urban myth on Weak Ankles playing for us

    He went to travel the world on a sabbatical, spreading the word of his wonder and ability. He spent time with Drogba and Anelka and educating them on the art of being a lethal striker, among others.

    Then, after nearly 5 years, when he spent a year on each of the footballing continents educating and amazing, he returned home to help rid us of Stubbins and bring us Vargas and Patito.

    Someone obviously gave him some concrete shoes and dropped him in the middle of Newy harbour to go sleep with the fishes where he belongs

    I can remember when the Jets played SFC and at the end of the game how Del Piero's whole face lit up with a smile when he got to shake hands and have a chat with Griffo at the end of the game.

    It's not often you see a star like Del Piero actually seeking out others for a chat - it's usually the other way around.

    That's how respected Joel Griffiths is in football and why he's the greatest ever player and now Football Operations Manager the game has ever seen.

    The best part was Griff would have had no idea who Del Piero was, but Griff gave him some time and advice to help the Italians career out. Because Griff is willing to help nobodies out.

    Hail Griff.
