I suppose it's a watch this space situation

According to their CEO on twitter, SFC did not instruct security to evict anyone, will be interesting to find out who made the call to evict Cove members. I am guessing its the local constabulary.

Will always respect the right of fans to protest, they're the ones funding the salaries of these people after all

but

this is why I am generally against fan protests against the coach. If they're truly terrible (e.g last in consecutive seasons) or if they embarrass the club/fans in some way off the pitch, then fair enough. As soon as you make a banner for it though you're making a big statement, and if there isn't an overwhelming majority who support it, then things can get messy.

I know some people would have liked to have done a similar thing with Gary a month ago, but I think this goes to show how precarious it can be.

More effective way of doing it might have been to unveil it at the end of the match, that way you make the same statement but there is nowhere near as much personal criticism. Still, don't think think it was wrong in any way, but it has led to a pretty ugly situation for all parties.
