the distances just blow me away. longest I have ridden is 104km (loop the lake plus riding to the start and back) in about 4 hours. I consider myself pretty fit and I just don't understand how people can keep going like that for so long at such intensity (some of them must surely be doing it with out "assistance").

fuark how good was paris-roubaix
canc, boonen & sagan all marked men, terpstra picked it beautifully, ironically boonen effectively dragged him up with his suicidal break 30k out
van marcke will win it in the next two years if he leaves belkin and goes to quick-step, great talent, shame stybar didn't work with him but tevz, that's racing

lol
quintana a big shot, but if the weather turns to shit like last year you'd have to get around evans and purito rodriguez
quintana and purito aren't great in the TT though, evans could shade them.
if he wins it he'd have to be one of straya's greatest ever sportsmen
OGE to be in pink on first day, have a great TTT squad

pretty shocking day in the mountains, weird stuff with the supposedly neutralized descent
quintana is an amazing climber though, hesjedal was brilliant to go with him
also - sammy - i'm thinking about a hardtail mtb and don't want to break the bank - looked at a cannondale trail, but MTB is a bit of a mystery to me. what's the go with 29er's etc
give me your wisdom. budget 1K, new or 2nd hand not an issue

Q-mans 4 week fap fest is back.
Who's your tip big man?
I'm cheering for Contador, bloke has one dodgy meal and he's labelled a drug cheat. Victim of circumstance if you ask me.
Plus he hated Armstrong before it was trendy.

The sponsors and the manufacturers are to blame for the drug culture not the riders. Riders are merely doing what is neccessary to stay competitive and earn their living.
The treatment of Armstrong by the media, former sponsors, and manufacturers has been a disgrace.
