    Vale Nev

I have just received word that Neville Bajzath, who worked in the Jets office under Cons ownership, has passed away this morning after a short battle with cancer.
A lot of the older Jets actives will remember Nev as he used to liase with the Squadron regularly on gameday and other matters.
He leaves behind his wife Denise and son Paul.

Thoughts are with his friends and family.

    RIP

    Vale nev.

Anyone from the early days who dealt with him..... Can you write something for zine?

Blokes like nev need to be remembered by everyone for the massive part they played in the early years of the current incarnation of the club.

Always had time for a chat and to answer any questions re the Jets and used to make sure that we got tickets to events because we traveled to most interstate games.. Looked after us when we won the championship with tickets and also to the presentation night that year.. Lovely person and a very sad loss condolences to his family he was way too young RIP Nev

The Bajzath family posted a thank you on the Squadron FB page, they were touched by the effort made
Con also posted a reply to the notice on the newcastlefootball FB page, very touching tribute
Former Jets staffers (Louise W, John T and Andrew L) were touched and also asked that their thanks be passed on also as good friends and workmates of Nev

As posted on twitter and FB, we thank all travelling supporters for helping us to commemorate the passing of a great bloke, and as many have stated was always for the fans and did some fantastic work for the Jets.
