It's part and parcel of the whole game and is no different for a big club as it is for the Jets, it's just the Jets have a little less cash to splash around and thus need to be even smarter with their investments.

You are correct except for the fact that we were in this situation not that long ago and we had the leading goalscorer (and one of the 3 best players on our team) locked into a long term deal yet didnt get a cent for him when he left.
