    Just watching the Griffo on NBN the bird reporting said Carney is most likely signed as negotiations are just about done there and Jets officials are expecting positive news

    Nothing to crow about yet i am sure Middleby and Palmer can throw a few spanners into it to scupper it

    Just wondering what decent central defenders are available in the UK where Phil has gone apparently (apart from Lucash).

    I'm thinking there would be some good ones around - though the England World Cup squad indicates otherwise !

    Maybe he's not looking at central defenders if the Cornthwaite rumours are true. Worked together at Adelaide and I remember reading an article where robbie was talking up stubbins. Hope he comes, not getting much gametime in Korea

    Might not be central defenders... though Shane Lowry is being released by Millwall. Could be a host of other players... Weslowski and Kilkenny I believe are both off contract.

    Lowry's agent has come out and said the A-League isn't on his radar at this stage and he has some offers from english clubs. That's his preference

    Kilkenny should be the target of most A-League clubs. Wesolowski, I don't know a huge deal about... apart from the fact that he is left footed, plays as a deeper midfielder and also spent some time at left back when younger. The photo's I have seen of him make me think he likes a pie and a beer...
