I am not so sure Jeronimo would be all that expensive. Gombau has been trying to offload him for a while and needs the Visa space. Wouldn't be surprised if a chunk of his salary is covered by AUFC.

    So Australian DM speculation

    Wilkshire
    McKain
    Wheelhouse
    Lowry
    Herd

If we do sign Jeronimo and fill our foreign spots, what do you guys think about signing McKain for DM?

Like I said in my previous post McKain would be the only realistic option I think considering the $$$ we'd have left.
Sarota/Paartalu would be awesome but unrealistic.

My preference would be wilkshere before mckain. Obviously there would be a large difference in wages there but we have marquee spots open so use it.

And so they/we should. I'm fine with gamesmanship as far as accentuating contact or making sure the officials know you've been fouled, but it's another thing entirely to invent contact that was never there.

Im thinking it'll be the first time ever that we would have used all our visa spots (5). Next season they drop to 4 which could be a problem. I'm guessing Kew will retire though.

I'm not sure what kind of wages Wilkshire would actually want. Apparently was on roughly 2m Euros in Russia for the last 3 years (and Russia have a flat 13% tax rate for everyone) so financially he should be pretty set.
    OK

If Stubbins has set on 442 with a midfield diamond, do we need a expensive DM?

A midfield like this is pretty competitive IMO

    ----------------Kanta

    Jeronimo------------------Steele

    ----------------Flores

I wouldnt want a DM of lesser quality than Kanta, hoping for an upgrade. Kanta will be a good strong backup.

Lol as if you'd boo a diver in your own team. Whinge about it on the forum after they've won the game.

It's a mouth watering prospect of Flores, Jeronimo and Joel on the pitch at the same time
