Was Takka ever dropped? Maybe my mind is deceiving me but I remember Takka being a regular starter and GVE sending him text messages saying what a good player he was. I always thought he was punted because of the coin he was on and a perceived inability to play GVE's new system he wanted to adopt. There is nothing wrong with a new coach wanting players that suit their style of play and doesn't mean the player is suddenly crap, otherwise we wouldn't have Jeronimo

As feared, the Jets can confirm @joshbarresi tore his right ACL in our match vs @juventusfcen and will require a knee reconstruction #NTUA
Putting "#NTUA" on a post about tearing an ACL seems a bit much don't you think, club?
    OK

It's standard on their tweets nowadays. At least it shows a small connection with supporters and appreciation for the club anthem.

Sorry, I'm fairly in the 'Tarek not shit' camp. My whole argument on the bloke is based on Foz Members ripping the bloke to shreds blaming him for the majority of our woes (a torch which has now been passed to BK).
You are 100% right in your post. But back in the day certain people didn't see it that way.
I gave up a long long time ago trying to understand what the **** GVE was trying to achieve.

Well there is now a squad position available, Oxborrow has left the Jets effective immediately.

Baccus to be signed now for sure

With Barresi gone for the season would you guys be happy to sign Ward? He is an attacking midfielder that could cover RM as well.

No it doesn't it sounds more like he has been sacked

If it was for something like that it would be some break or personal issue to deal with and he would be still employed by the Jets.

Remember Taggz was let go back to Perth for some personal stuff but the club didn't part ways with him.

You would have to be rather callous ****s to stop employing someone due to having a sick family member
