Swann just announced his retirement.
go away swaaaaann
win toss bowl 1st = dickhead
Agree you should always bat first regardless of the conditions 99% of the time though being that they have back to back tests it may be slightly strategic move as they may not want to bowl last in Melbourne and then have to bowl first in Sydney and risk injury/burnout of their quickies.
At least bowling first here should see the likes of Harris be a much better chance of backing up in Sydney as they should have had that extra day or two of rest
If they were that worried about burnout they would have rested Harris after Adelaide innit.
Bloke just bowls then gets on the turps.
****ern legend mate.
Choosing to bowl first in a dead rubber isn'ta bad way of getting the "we need to chase xxx to win" mentality. It's probably decent practice for bowling on a Day 1 pitch too.
And is 6 for 230 odd really an even day like since of the shit I am reading?
very even. aus will fold like a blanket at some stage. cant chase runs for sh1t. rogers is a struggler.
stupid cvnt gets hit in tha head off a good length.

Did anyone see the Brett Lee/Piers Morgan segment?
Wha happened?
Brett Lee didn't bowl flat out but he did hit Piers Morgan a few times. Piers Morgan had no idea and was backing away / jumping around in the crease. Note: Lee was bowling down leg side to make sure he hit Morgan as he backed away from the ball before Lee had even released it.
