    From the interwebs:
Alessandro Del Piero admits the Heysel tragedy played a part in his decision to reject a move to Liverpool in the summer.

The Reds made a late bid to sign the former Juventus star, following his departure from the Old Lady at the end of last season.

Del Piero, 37, opted for a move to Australian side Sydney FC instead and has told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport that he’s not disappointed by his choice.

"Why I said no to Liverpool? Negotiations with Sydney were already advanced and then I thought about what had happened at Heysel," Del Piero said.

"Juve and Liverpool were able to rebuild the relationship, but for many people that tragedy is an indelible memory. I thank all the clubs which wanted me, but I'm convinced of my choice."

Transfers. During hiis claimed meeting with Chang, Chang has said his tweets cost Liverpool more as they came during sensitive stages of negotiations.

He also claims Chang threatened him to come out and say there wasn't a mole he had inside liverpool, after trying to get this twitter guy to reveal who his mole inside was (he said he didn't have one).

Liverpool have apparently spent a lot of money trying to audit phones, internet, etc of employees to weed the mole out.

This is all claims, hence why I'm not stating a fact. Chang has said, however, he did meet a twitter user for a meeting

Interesting game this morning. A few points I noted:

    * Suso and Wisdom showed they are still young. Miralles was skinning Wisdom consistently until he was hurt/injured. Suso went missing hence his substitution.

    * Still work to do in attacking third.

    * Everton were clearly the better team first half and even though they were 2-0 up, I felt Liverpool were not the better team at that stage. The first goal was no surprise.

    * BR has a plan B. His change in formation was a good one and nullified the Everton attack when compared to first half.

    * Shelvey played well and added more grunt to the midfield which was non-existent in the first half. Allen copped a beating all game, but geez he's brave and kept going abck for more.

    * Both teams were lucky to finish with 11 men - Liverpool more so.

    * Everton will be more disappointed than Liverpool.

    * Suarez infuriates with his childish tackles and nips/fouls.

    * Unlucky to not get the third but clearly a wrong decision both manager admitted. Should have been 3 before that.

    * Enrique still rusty but played well (2nd goal excepted)

    * Moyes has a sense of humour. Glad he can see the funny side of teh goal celebration.

Still Liverpool gave away a 2 goal lead. Reina back in goal next week for sure.

    ^ Good summary

Also Jim Beglin may be an ex-red but **** he loves to stick the boot in. Even my gf (who had no idea who he was) was saying how he didnt have a single good word to say about Liverpool the entire game.

Nice bit of class form Moyes to say he enjoyed Suarez's celebration and to admit it was a goal. I can imagine the kick up the arse Neville got at half time after his pathetic dive. I'm sure the irony wasn't lost on Moyes that it was his player who got booked for diving after his pot stirring

once again we concede against the run of play, dominate the entire game and just can't take our opportunities. shelvey

good decision by the linesman to send of coloncini, that was a leg breaker

I cant see us getting into the top half until January and enforcements arrive. We cant keep relying on Suarez and kids ffs

Jose showed why he has been so frustrating, five minutes of brilliance followed by 20 minutes of shite.
