    Manchester City v Liverpool
    Liverpool 3/1
    Manchester City 4/5
    Draw 13/5
    sounds like a tough ask

He's a great player, arguably in the top 5 strikers going around at the moment, but he is not even close to the messi/ronaldo level.

no-one is on messi/ronaldo level, but he would easily be in amongst the 3 to 5 positions.

What a cracker of a game. FFS its hard to not feel hard done by, Offside??? Is that linesman on crack??? 2 decent penalty calls, although Skrtel probably got away with a little to much too. Sterling how did he miss, Mignolet on dear, question is now how much will this cost us only time will tell.

    Poo should feel satisfied atm.

No Gerrard or Sturridge on deck and they have played all the top teams (apart from Man U) away in the first round.

They are well placed to get into the top 4.

Very unfortunate not to come away with 1/3pts V Man City. Thought we took it to them but City's counter attack at home is too good.

The humble pie wasn't too tasty, but not too much of a setback IF we get back to winning ways. We have Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Everton all at home this round so hopefully get some points from those and we are back to evens.

Hull @ home, Stoke away, Villa @ Home, Everton @ Home, WBA away. On paper, Everton is only 50/50 game, but we are liverpool so we'll probably lose to Villa at home or some shit.

Then, Arsenal @ Anfield in maybe the biggest game so far.

    Any transfer rumours floating around?

spends a bit of time getting hacked, quick feet. Rodgers usually has a good eye though

So Liverpool are interested in Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand and Chelsea have agreed to let Ryan leave, but Chelsea are reluctant to sell to us because they are unhappy with how little Victor Moses has featured so far this season.

Why bother defending when all you need to do is score more than your opposition?

It will make an interesting game to watch this evening. By all accounts Liverpool's midfield and defence were quite poor.

Bit difficult when Stoke do nothing but race up into your face and swipe at your ankles. Was a frenetic game, you will enjoy it.

Don't know what all the fuss is about with the penalty. Sure, it was a handball prior from Sterling. But, i've seen the replays over and over again this morning and I'm convinced it was a penalty. Soft, but a penalty nonetheless. The angle from behind shows the hip/contact and you see Sterling's body shift with the impact, and he goes down...

Good to get the win. At 2-2 i was a bit scared. Need to keep winning these games against teams below us and we will get our chances to move up.

Great game to watch (excitement wise).
Suarez has to be the most undervalued $400,000 a week player ive ever seen. Gosh he's good.
