Name and shame everyone on here who said Vujica was trash last year.

    Start with Mark Jones.

Bloke is worthy of a spot.

I don't think he the worst never have

To me he just a little slow

Reads play well but a little short on pace required at this level

perhaps we should encourage fans to write letters of complaint to Masterfoods re the 'disgraceful behaviour' of their sauce bottles in front of young children in the crowd and suggest a boycott of their product until Newcastle receives an apology...

    You disagree on his speed??

To me he ain't quick enough for a left back.

Hence why he will struggle to get a gig in Europe and will most likely be HAL level at best

Yesterday he was solid for 90 minutes. As I said it was only gypos... let's see. If he can't get a gig in Europe and performs like he did yesterday for the Jets for the next 15 years ... then happy days

Vujica was not solid for 90mins. I was a big fan of his last year and stated so but was only until the second half he settled. Appiah had him for pace and was lost for 20 mins. After that bloke he settled. Will be great in that position but don't kid yourself that he was amazing for the full 90

Solid and amazing are 2 different things .... Appiah might have more pace but none of Appiah's run ended up with a goal against us....

yep this is the fine print.

this appiah dude, and mitch austin, and that rukyvytsa dude and all these other jamokes that are 'lightning fast' tend to do very well getting on the other side of their defender yet do sweet FA once they are there.

who cares how many times Appiah got on the other side of our man. vujica defended him well and once the game wore on turned him around and made him chase back.

also: ill say it now, youre gonna see a good season from Cowburn too. Merrick looks like a coach that is gonna pick players in their proper positions and let them play. cowburn is a good enough footballer to be in this league. watch him go.

sign up here to be on Plagues bandwagon. all welcome.

    Appiah is shit

    Seriously let's call a spade a spade

Didn't he once trial with us when we really shit and we knocked him.back??

Vujicas speed is always going to be an issue at this level regardless of whether he playing against greyhound like wingers his speed is going to be regularly tested

Whilst it is regularly tested he is going to be found wanting on occassions because of it

Don't forget it only takes one time to be caught out to cost your team the game

In the post game interviews Merrick mentioned that they gave Vujica different instructions for the 2nd half to make it difficult for Appiah in the 2nd half. It worked.

Once the Hoff is fit to play I think Vujica might struggle to get a run.
