Thought it was an entertaining game. Suns absolutely dominated first half.

What’s boring though, bringing your own drinks to local league football. Poor form.
    It's football, not s***er!!

Tough school it could of been 4-4. It was 2 teams trying to play football. Suns had the first half and Dudley the second. For me pretty entertaining

Nothing wrong with it if your club doesn't have a liquor license.

Poor form on your clubs behalf if you do have one and allow them to consume their own.

I did. You said it's poor form from The Suns to 'allow' Dudley to bring their own drinks and drink them. That's rubbish. Every club in the comp has a liquor licence and everyone knows full well that you can't BYO. I struggle to see how you feel the blame is on the host club rather than the opposition club to knowingly do so.

FYI. They were told not to, yet continued to do so.

Unfortunately it was some past players that turned up and did the wrong thing. The club is not happy at all with these guys as no matter what it’s respecting the rules. All clubs committees work hard and it’s very disappointing

Then you call the cops, because if someone was consuming alcohol at your licenced venue and they do something that the alcohol had an affect on the you may be found liable as well.

Pretty poor if it comes to this and very poor on the Dudley people for putting you in that situation. But the cops are the way to go, because they will definitely get them to stop.

    This.

It's in the conditions and terms of your liquor license. Funny thing is, from you posting this, anyone can inform Liquor & Gaming NSW about the breach & that you (your club) didn't take the appropriate action for people consuming their own liquor at a licensed venue.

How about you don't blame the club (or people) for your own inability to manage & adhere to your own liquor license.

What if it was just some randoms who rocked up (not affiliated with any club), would you also allow them to continue to consume their own liquor?

Pretty sure this raised its head once before after a semi final against Bero at Connelly Park years ago. Some people - not at the venue for the football but enjoying beers in the park were approached. Heated words were exchanged. Tough to police if you don’t have an external fence in addition to the fenced playing field

Correct it did! And It's truly sickening that these germs (not Dudley as a Club, the fools that did BYO) think it's appropriate! Words have been had with the coach and President. Next time the police will be called!

Or just call the police the first time, you know... To save your club a fine and the possibility of losing your liquor license.
