Furns (@newyboys) is joined by Michael (@BodyNovo) & DrEmma (@Synapse101) to chat preseason & preview Rd1 between @NewcastleJetsFC & @AdelaideUnited
After the opening question the panel discuss the preseason fixtures, strengths and weaknesses in the current squad, players to watch this season, the inevitable discussion on the Scott Miller sacking and the subsequent hiring of Mark Jones. We give a bit of a season preview and then our thoughts on who will take out the Premiership and Championship as well as where we expect the Jets to finish.
There is some news regarding a new venue for home and away games, as well as the new active support area at Hunter Stadium behind the goals on the Southern Hill.
We then jump into an interview that David conducted with Ilario from the Adelaide United supporters podcast Always United (@AlwaysUnitedPod). David and Ilario discuss the Adelaide side of the upcoming match, recent performances in preseason, player turnover and how they see the match unfolding.
We then finish off by previewing the match against Adelaide from the Jets perspective, who will be likely to start, what will the tactics and formations be, and our tip on the result. We finish off by giving our tips on the rest of the games in the opening round of the 2016/17 A-League season.
