The Jetstream Offseason – Lawrie McKinna (+Scott Miller bonus) Interview

In another offseason episode Furns (@newyboys), Dave (@Jeterpool) and Michael (@BodyNovo) sit down and interview new Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna (@LawrieMcKinna).

We ask a variety of questions to Lawrie as well as some questions submitted by fellow Jets supporters. We find out his initial impressions of the club, what the plans for the club are in the immediate future, the future of the Emerging Jets and Womens teams, questions on community ownership & engagement, and a bunch of other topics. And we also find out the status of the jets shaped hats.

After the Lawrie interview, we were also able to briefly interview Jets coach Scott Miller (@ScottGMiller). We ask Scott about his recent trip overseas, the status of some of the fringe players in the squad, what Wayne Brown brings to the team and the preparations for the FFA Cup fixture against Melbourne Victory. Due to time constraints, we weren’t able to ask as many of the fans submitted questions as we wanted. We will endeavour to interview Scott again at a later date.

The Jetstream Podcast Ep58 – Hands In His Head

Furns (@newyboys) returns to host this weeks’ episode and is joined by a returning David (@JeterPool), Glen (@SufferJetsCity) and Michael (@BodyNovo).
After the opening question, we jump into discussing another 2-1 loss this time away to the Brisbane Roar. We go through the game and review the overall performance of the team and talking points of the game including the goals and yet another red card to Captain Redtastic. As there was no Jetstream Extra this week, we have included Scott Millers post match press conference as well as an interview Michael did after the game with Jets supporter Drew.
There wasnt anything new to talk about regarding transfers and ownership so we discussed the Jets laying on buses to the away F3 Derby as well as some correspondence via social media.
Then we preview the final game & F3 Derby of the season this Saturday 9th April March against the Mariners away at Central Coast Stadium. We finish the episode by giving our tips and thoughts on who will take out the 2016 A-League Premiership and the individual games in Round 27.

The Jetstream Extra – POSTMATCH Newcastle United Jets FC 1 – Perth Glory FC 2

 

new_pgWelcome to our postmatch podcast – The Jetstream Extra.  In this Season 11 Round 25 edition, we have the audio of the post-match press conference with @ScottGMiller after the @NewcastleJetsFC lost their final home game at Hunter Stadium 2-1 to the Perth Glory.
David (@Jeterpool) interviews Mullo from the @TheGloryGuerill podcast at halftime to get his impressions of the game so far.
Emma (@Synapse101) then interviews Jets supporters Zac and Jonathon after fulltime and gets their thoughts on game and the talking points.
David (@JeterPool) then has a special (and sometimes antagonistic) interview with Twitter identity @NewyJetsMarquee who seemed to think he was going to be interviewed by @Meredith_Gibbs. Dave gets his thoughts on his teammates, coach, his lack of first team appearances this season, and a bunch of other questions including his spats with other Twitter users.
