Ok for exploits in the Prem or with Chelsea in general.
Essien achieved far more than Hazard did.
Ballack aside from European honors achieved the same that Hazard did.
At Chelsea in general Id have Hazard above Ballack and Essien. Controversial yes but just my opinion
How about Claude Makélélé, allowed Lampard, Drogba, Robben, Duff et al to play
Only Lamps of those 5 players named had more impact in the prem at Chelsea. The rest only stayed for 2 or 3 seasons
Agreed, but that isn't what I said, without Makélélé none of Chelsea's creative players would have had the freedom to do what they did. Incidentally, I reckon your top 5 isn't far off the mark, I could make a case for Ashley Cole as well as Makélélé, I'd question your order though.
Fair point but Lamps played just as good under other holding midfielders after Maka left. My only sore is a top 5 and I cant put Dennis Wise in it
