Finished watching second season of The Punisher and easily better than the first in my opinion. Can’t see anybody being able to replicate Jon Bernthal’s performance of the character in any future editions of the comic
Bodyguard on Netflix. Best series ive seen in a long time.
Also just started watching Killing Eve on ABC iview. Pretty good so far
I've started "The Orville" from SBS on demand. Light hearted so far - easy watch.
The Championship Chronicles - The Jetstream's review of the 2007/08 season. www.newcastlefootball.net/chronicles
Finished Sunderland til I die and didn’t mind it.
I mean it was interesting seeing the behind the scenes and good to see that type of thing from a non big 6 team.
I’m sure it was meant to be their return to EPL docuseries and it went downhill.
I found it interesting seeing how they struggled in the transfer market and how players pulled out and also conversations with high paid players not earning their money.
Also couldn’t make that shit up regarding Gibson from beginning to end.
Finding “Class of 92” an interesting watch.
Follows Salford City in their year (s1) and year after (s2) Giggs, Neville’s, Scholes and Nicky Butt bought them. (David Beckham recently jumped on board).
I’m obviously no Man U fan, but there’s minimal/no ManU wankfest. Some very interesting perspectives.
Anyone watched Russian Doll ?
It's pretty good. Bit of a groundhog day / multiverse type of thing starring Natasha Lyonne from American Pie et al.
Season One is over, it had a great ending and I hope they don't try and stretch it out to another season.
Recent Viewing:
Brooklyn 99 - Only just started it on netflix. Really impressed, it's a great laugh
Last Kingdom - I love this show, great story and better action sequences.
Altered Carbon - Interesting concept, Sci Fi with a detective show vibe early on that morphs into a convoluted conspiracy/back story. Some great concepts in here but some pretty wooden acting. Will still watch Season 2 when it comes out
The Expanse - Probably the most realistic and believable sci fi ever released. I've only watched the first 2 season but loved every second.
New Amsterdam - Standard ER type clone, depressing show overall that makes you think the head doctors in the hospital are the only competent people who do all the work. Hate it, wife makes me watch it with her.
Blue Bloods - Best cop drama around, great stand alone episodes with a very believable cast. Tom Selleck still has the best Mo on earth.
911 - Entertaining without being anything "New" I think they have cast the characters really well and individual story lines work really well.
Interested to know if anyone has watched Umbrella Academy, Santa Clarita Diet, Ozark or Peaky Blinders as they look interesting but I have't taken the step of starting them up yet.

Just finished Umbrella Academy, it's brilliant the acting from some is a little cringe worthy. I've read the comic and it's a perfect adaptation so there were no plot twists moment for myself but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Peaky Blinders is one of the best mini series to come out in the last 10 years. It's a must watch.
I can't rave enough about The Expanse. Books are even better.
