This highly litigious society doesnt allow for old school types to throw their weight around anymore whether right or wrong. This and the gradual intolerance of abuse in combative sports is bringing us to this point. Has every club got a lawyer yet?

This is why you don?t run to papers like big baby?s and keep things in house. The sad part is he used kids training facilities as ammunition to get back at them. Very embarrassing indeed. They will only get their asses haded to them in NPL 1 anyway.
From what I've heard this is entirely false and an excuse by the committee to muddy the waters. It's obviously worked.

You heard wrong. He stated that the JDL and PYL couldn't use the grounds and then changed it to only be for a week.
Blacksmiths is hardly cancelled due to rain, maybe if there was a king tide coinciding with rain then there would be puddles.
The club tried to deal with it in house, he was suspended for 2 weeks but wouldn't accept it so the club sacked him.
He ran to social media on Sunday not the club.
There looks like there have been multiple things said by both sides that they will all regret.
If I were in the club I would be worried about the culture developed/developing. Importing Coasties at high costs who can leave easily doesn't seem sustainable to me. Good luck to the club on figuring out what they need to address.
