Griff is being played out of position when he is behind Heskey. I feel if you move him than his performances will get better.

gruff is the type of player that is virtually non-existent for 5/6 of the match, but his 1/6 can and usually is game changing. he's great at popping up for goals & a lethal pass or two every now & then, but other than that he's basically just carried by the team as he's not really that mobile, he's not really creative & he's not really fast. he's the type of player you hate to have, as he offers such little to the overall performace of the teamplay, but he's too important not to have as he's so lethal at a random time. the other problem he has is he's a griffiths - he has a short temper & doesn't mind blasting his teammates when they fxxx up. the difference between him & joel, though, is joel contributed more than enough to the team to actually get up on that pedestal to talk down to his teammates - ryan does so without actually doing anything to warrant him talking down to people.

been saying this for awhile now, griff is one of the most overrated players in the aleague imo.
great at pens and can have a good shot out of no where but is never involved in general play and doesnt seem to look for the ball as other wingers do

And it's hard to play as a winger when you need to be playing in behind Heskey or on the wrong flank.

like I was trying to say - I like how important gruff is to the team. I just see him as relatively useless for large parts of most games. outside of the newy-faithful it's quite clear this is the case aswell. what part of what I said am I wrong btw?

tbh sammydog the players I've wanted to stay & support have been moved on - ljubo, griff (da real griff), jobe. rubez is the exception - its great we value someone I value highly. btw you guys talk about haters coming out of the woodwork & bandwagoning? I'd love for the Foz v1 to be around still, when there were "band wagoners" hating on ljubo, on griff, on jobe. it's not a sudden trend to have a group of haters & a group of lovers for particular players. we're all right & wrong in our opinions - just deal wiv it brah
