I will give Stubbins credit for clearing out some of the deadwood and he brought Boogs, Mullen, Alivodic and Leaky Gee to the club. That's about it, if he wants to take some claim to our good start this year under Miller then he seriously does suffer from some mental delusional disorder.

Wasn't the only deadwood he got rid of Kew? He brought in Madaschi, Celeski, Jeronimo and Griff proved at Nix that he clearly wasn't deadwood.

He brought in stillbirthwood like Welsh and Gallagher which is far more harm than the players he got rid of.

I noticed the article writer conveniently left out the part where Stubbins refused to play Carney.

Lol exactly. Stubbins considered Carney deadwood too, yet he's been our best player this season.
There is nothing positive to say about his time here.

Our stand out player and one the commentators are lauding the whole competition wise.
Lottsa of love heaped on the lad.
Bet Carney's resurrection is greater that Phil's.

Theres only 2 goals this season that carney hasn't either been the scorer or got the assist from our team (the first 2 last night)

You guys all saw Carneys defending on that open header on the back stick early.

From the corner he left the post then ran away from his man, then went and stood 2 feet behind the goals and as old mate headed it he put his hands up over his face.

Bloke is dead set 90mins of entertainment.

Was that Fornaroli's open header? If so, why is one of our attacking players marking one of the best strikers in the league?

True. If the bloke was a half decent journalist he would be doing his job somewhere other than a pissant town.

Yeah it was his header. Not sure who Carney was supposed to be marking cause he ran away so quickly.

The best bit was him standing 2 feet inside his own goals with his hands over his face. Not exactly sure what he was trying to achieve with that but comedy gold all the same.

Nah, wasn't that. Carney like the other four upset old Muppet and were "troublemakers" ha ha. Plus I believe Carney told Tinks a few hometruths and was therefore blacklisted off the teamsheet.

cause the striker isn't tall and Carney played at LB for most of his career?

Miller: 4 wins in a season > Stubbins 3 wins in a season.

What a load of snifflepuss. I was watching our current attempt and seriously with the talent at disposal, Stubbnuts would have relaxed in a king size water feature and we win 5-0.

What a deluded man he was.
In his mind he actually thought what he was doing was best for the club.
