Yep - Masters of the Air. They were in pre-production but Id say thats ground to a halt like everything else. Going to be an Apple+ exclusive title as well which means Ill have to subscribe to another bloody streaming service.

FFS! Ill just wait till it hits Dvd or Blu Ray

VPN and piratebay.

I thought you two were old enough to know how to pirate? I can't believe kids these days haven't learnt one of the only valuable skills on the internet.

The first 3 or 4 episodes are slow as ****. I almost bailed... but then it's pure gold.

Recently binge watched all 5 series, excellent show. Omar one of the best baddies ever

I signed up for Apple+. Got a free 12 month trial. Not sure if it is still the same terms, but worth looking at.

If you end up getting it - Watch "The Morning Show" it's quality.

It's the lack of other programs to watch that make Apple + a joke at $7.99 a month.

I got it free when I bought an Apple TV for a year - but apart from The Morning Show we don't watch it.

The finest TV show of all time is currently FREE to stream if you chuck on a VPN and head to HBO.

**** I love The Wire.

I totally recommend Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dear_Zachary:_A_Letter_to_a_Son_About_His_Father) Father (https://printsbery.com/cards/birthday/family/brother)
It's brilliant documentary. One of the best I've ever seen.

Is there anyone watching Masterchef or Hell's Kitchen? I don’t know there is something special about cooking shows. The talent show with different singers is somehow nothing new, they are bored. But in cooking there is always something new.

Just binged in one sitting. Absolute pearler of a show.

Tried to drag it out as much as I could, lasted 2 days. Easy to watch.

Produced by Bill Lawrence (scrubs) and Jason sudeikis (plays ted lasso) and Brendan Hunt (coach beard), it definitely gives off scrubs vibes in the way there’s comedy throughout, but they still tackle some deeper themes.
It’s like, Ned Flankers becoming a NFL coach, then being picked to coach a premier league side (for motives I’ll leave out).

WandaVision really ramping up. Great episode last week that filled in a lot of the grey areas.

The book of Boba Fett - S01E05

Good to see Beggars Canyon and...ahem...the local wildlife.
They threw a curve ball with this episode. Thought I was watching another show!

Seemed more like an episode of Mandalorian.

Got the Mrs to watch Drive to Survive. Another F1 convert.

A few years ago, never would’ve cared for formula 1, didn’t understand why it was so popular. This docuseries has done absolute wonders for their sport.
If you haven’t already, I’d definitely recommend. The way they chronicle the season and pick out the relevant battles to focus on in each episode is really well done. I’m not quite converted to wake up at ridiculous o clock to watch the European races, but I’ll gladly sit down and watch if it’s on at a respectable time.

Finished Ozark as well the other day. Bit of a slow burn of a show. In the end I enjoyed it. Thought they rushed the ending a little. Could’ve done a few more twists.
Had hoped there was going to be a really big plot reveal with repetition of an event that occurred in ep 1, and was very interested to see what it meant, alas, it was merely an innocent moment with no deeper meaning.

Didn’t really offer too much closure I didn’t think. Found it a similar feeling to finishing Breaking Bad.

Just started season 4 of The Boys.

Just started season 4 of The Boys.

Episode 1 was something else, lol. The rest so far seems like a slow build up to something big.

For any documentary lovers out there Prehistoric Planet with David Attenborough is amazing. It's only on Apple TV + at this stage though.

Great show. Love the writing and the satire. Karl Urban is brilliant

The only show I’m currently watching is still Better Call Saul and it’s almost over. I have no idea how they’re going to wrap the entire thing with 2 episodes left but that’s always how it seems (https://digital-planner.com/daily/graph-diary) to go. Like we can sense the trajectory is aiming at the ground now, but it seems like they could spend another season to get to the landing (or crash) if they wanted. Instead there’s 2 episodes.

Have recently finished:
Foundation on Apple TV+
Peacemaker on Binge
The Terminal List on Prime

Highly recommend all 3, all for very different reasons.

if you've got a Disney+ subscription, I highly recommend "Welcome to Wrexham"

it's about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying Wrexham AFC

two episodes of eight in, with new ones coming every Thursday

it's really good at getting the passion and genuine shitness of supporting this game, and the impact on the people in the club and those poor bastards supporting them

Ryan Reynolds quote: "I am so obsessed with this sport now that I actually hate this sport. Like, I wish it didn't occupy my every thought,"

a streaming show about two celebrities buying a football club has no right to be that emotional

maybe it's just me being a cancer survivor goal keeper - but watch ep5 by yourself

I'll watch ep6 another day

Interested to see how this pans out…

https://keepup.com.au/news/want-unprecedented-access-that-pushes-the-boundaries-introducing-a-leagues-all-access

From what I’ve read, it seems to be more of a focus on one person per episode type thing. Opposed to a season doco similar to all or nothing etc.

As someone who loved the books by Tolkien and really enjoyed the Peter Jackson's movie trilogy, I watched Amazon's Rings of Power and can quite safely say I will not be watching the second season.

The script was woeful with many plot holes and as much as the show is visually just epic, if I had to sit through another slow motion horse riding scene I think I'd throw something at the TV.

People are complaining about the casting. Not sure why as I think they all did a serviceable job with the abysmal scripts they were given.

On the flip side, after being bitterly disappointed with how A Game of Thrones ended I gave A Dance of Dragons a chance and absolutely loved it. Great story telling & they got the casting perfect considering the time jumps.

The only weak points have been some of the fight scenes. For the laman might be difficult to get their head around the time jumps as they aren't very clarified very well.

Also super impressed with the couple of episodes I have seen of Andor so far.

Kinda agree on rings of power. Went in with low expectations and although there are some good points. On the whole it's underwhelming and ffs no more harfoots please

Original GoT did my head in trying to get into it at the start. Here old mate and his wife, no that’s his sister, what, and these kids are whose? But this family doesn’t like this family. I had a printed family tree next to me watching the first few episodes to help me make sense of it.
Was not helped by the “Balinese or Vietnamese” version skipping an episode.

I’ve heard from a few people the time jumps in a Dance of Dragons are very confusing, from a book-reading fan. So they had more of an idea of the story than I will.
Waiting for season 1 to be done or almost done before I start the journey.

Have been powering through Welcome to Wrexham again after an overseas trip. I’m much more partial to Ryan and Rob now. It’s pretty interesting seeing it from their perspective. Eg. Do we go another 600k over budget and double down, or see how it pans out.
Interested to see it all progress. (Slight spoiler knowing what league they are in this season though…).
