Could be a reasonable shout. He's available as you said above and Ange worked with him in Brisbane. Given Ange's assistance in getting Scott Miller to the club, this could add up.

What are Rado's strengths i think we need a coach with good attacking knowledge and experience
Alessi formally announced as departing WSW today.

I wasn't really suggesting Rado. Sick of the merry-go-round of players and staff... and we aren't forced to take on journeymen coaching staff. The fresh start with Miller from outside the existing brigade was good and I would like us to be ambitious and bring someone in who has a new perspective as well.
JP signed on originally for his local knowledge of the players. Miller has that now so should recruit whoever he likes as his assistant.
I think we're also being naïve if we think the Jets and Miller didn't know this was coming. It could have been part of the agreement when he returned last year! Miller will have an idea already who he wants to hire as his new assistant. With any luck, that might be a plural with the new owner coming on board.
I knew he'd eventually get mentioned and create a small stir so i thought id get it in early
Maybe once England get dumped out in the Group stages of the Euro's, Scotty can make a call to get the freshly unemployed Roy Hodgson to come out.
Roy and Harry (and his dog) could meet at Belmont 16 Footers for a catch up to reminisce.
Just signed Alessi.
The wording of the press release is interesting. Pointing out he plays centrally, left and right back. I would say the chances of signing Joice and not another left back are strengthening.
Interestingly, the article states that he can provide cover in right and LEFT back.
I am assuming that the rest of our signings will be for the front third now (and/or a marquee cm)

6 open spots if we fill to 23, what I think
- Cameron Joice
- U/20 GK
- 2 Foriegn Wide Players
- Leave 2 spare for Marquees if we ever actually got sold
With the 2nd Goalkeeper to be an U20's player, would like to see our new owners use the Mature Age Rookie allowance to sign a goalkeeper from the NPL. This player is additional to the 23 man squad and needs to have not played in a fully professional league in the previous 18 months. Someone like Danny Ireland maybe or a goalkeeper from Victoria or Sydney. Allowance is only for min wage contract, 55k, so would need to be enticed by that.
Clut and Nobby will apart of that front 4 but i'd be assuming Millertime will be looking at whoever fits in with these two. No matter which position they are. We could sign 2 wingers and move these 2 centrally, or sign a 9 & 10 and these guys move out wide. It's nice to have options.
Miller has said he is after 2 wide players, mature age rookie is outside the cap and won't happen unless we have an owner other than FFA.
Badum Tssk!
Sign up "Fat Forward" who has just been released by Wimbledon. SSE fans will know.
From Wembly to Ray Watt
Donachie has left the Roar too. Would be a great pickup if we didn't already have a fair bit of cover at the back.
Seriously, he would be great for PR and publicity around the world as he is such a cult figure. And may not be bad on the pitch either - playing professionally so can't be all bad. Would steamroll some of the defenders out here.
Marquee status and/or weekly starter, probably not which means it would never happen.

The thing is, coming from League 2 there is no way we would need to pay him Marquee wages to get him out here. You would get him for reasonably little, and for PR etc it would be great. However, playing in the A League in the Australian summer, I can not see him contributing a great deal, conditions do not really suit a man of his size
