Or who they thought the movie was about

i was gonna go see it but i overheard someone saying that Freddie dies so great its all been spoiled no point going now.
so inconsiderate.
Not quite movie but just saw Book of Mormon and it was fantastic.
Amber Heard
Had an Indiana Jones vibe to it at some stages. Overall not too bad.
Watched Split the other night. Good but so ****ed up
I watched the movie 'Threads' the other day - it's an 80s made for TV movie about nuclear war
set in Sheffield, was only shown twice by the BBC, and once in Australia by Channel 9 (who partially financed it) and then showed it without ads
it traumatised an entire generation and it's not hard to see why - even though it's over 30 years old and made on a very small budget, it still stays with you
the script was written by a screenwriter who's worked extensively with Ken Loach and the director went on to big films like The Bodyguard and LA Story
I'd recommend it but it wasn't exactly pleasant
yeah for some reason i rewatched 'Unbreakable' a couple weeks ago.
*******Spoiler alert*******
when i read about the link between that and Split (and the new one Glass) i gave it a look.
didnt hate it, buddy was real good in it though. every time he turned into the lady, it was pretty freaky.
im not the least bit interested in the new Captain Marvel movie.
or the new Spiderman movie.
im very interested in the new Avengers movie.
There are too many stupid superhero movies.
Ok, and after just writing that, I see that they are planning on making a direct sequel to follow on from Ghostbusters 2.
Will be directed by Jason Reitman (son of Ivan, original director of the two Ghostbusters films - the all female remake we won't talk about)..
Unless you can get Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd back, then don't bother..
you know what, i giggled a couple of times in that movie. esp the parts where Kate McKinnon and Kristen Wiig were just talking off the cuff. I was convinced it was all just natural shit talk that they left in the movie because it was more entertaining than the stuff that was written in the script.
but yeah, it wasnt a very good movie.
well, i feel obligated to see it. i really enjoyed Infinity War (the other 2 Avengers movies were pretty awful imho).
but my happiness after leaving the theatre was quickly squashed by the realisation that they will reverse the Snappening.
this renders any real drama from the first movie dead.
so yeah, ill prob hate it because everything will be fine and dandy in the end.
To be totally fair.. I haven't even watched it.
I was/am so disgusted with the thought of them using the Ghostbusters branding to cash in and make it, that I couldn't bring myself to go near it..
I figured it was the old "It's a piece of sh!t, but by the time people realise it, we've already made our money back and heaps more, and then who cares if its seen as being a stinker or not"..
ok, here we go.
What was the movie ending that was genuinely shocking to you?
Like, you didnt see it coming (sorry Sixth Sense fans dont post here, everyone saw that coming).
I'll say Seven, "whats in the box" and the fact that John Doe 'wins' was not how i saw that movie going.
Have you seen Kate McKinnon on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee ?

Seven was my pick. LA Confidential too
Being There.

Great movie.
Interesting little discovery just now. I went onto the wiki page for Se7en (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_(1995_film)) and in that right hand side summary thing wiki does it lists the Starring as Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and John C. McGinley.. Spacey is mentioned later in the actual article etc but it's just amazing to me how much people are trying to wipe Kev from as much as they can. Some of my favourite films/shows are purely because of the dude.
Wow, you just made me think of a movie with a great shock and it has Kev in it..
The Usual Suspects..
The lineup scene is just amazing.. (Pretty sure we have talked about it in here before)

Oooook, just saw this:

Ummm... wtf?

Forget it...
Just did some research, its for a Superbowl Ad....
Fvcking ads..
Anybody watch that Fyre Festival doco? Far out that bloke has a few loose screws. Even funnier when he’s on Bail and goes to scam people again.
Counting down the days til the Hobbs and Shaw Fast n Furious spin off comes out.
This movie will be the greatest ever and win at least 34 Oscars.
ive been on a few planes lately, so there has been some movie viewing.
Ant Man and the Wasp: Marvel fanboys are the worst. This movie stinks. But thats ok, because out of 20 odd movies youre allowed to have some stinkers. Like both these Ant Man movies. Just give in and admit they stink, and that some other ones rule. Its ok to do that. Oh and Black Panther sucked.
Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom: Woof, this was bad. really, the only way to save this franchise is to get the gang from Fast n Furious in to save the Dinosaurs by hauling them off on the back of Mad max style hotted up trucks. Wait, did I just save Hollywood? Yeah probably. Although the CGI Assholesaurus or whatever it is would be a better actor than Vin Diesel.
The Meg: Thank Griff a movie that opens up by saying "this is going to be dumb", and them proceeds to break through that dang glass ceiling. I enjoyed it for what it was. Also, Statham rules and puts in a decent shift every movie......unlike Chris Pratt in that Dino movie who, if you look closely enough, you can see that revolver next to his skull as he recites his lines. Poor dude.
oh, i think Richie Cunninghams kid from the Dino movie is a good sort. but it sucked so much i wanted her to get eaten, SPOILER ALERT she didnt, and will prob be back for more Dinotastic shite.
there were others, but the vodka was kicking in so i cant remember them at the moment.
oh, i remembered to add 'hard times at the el royale' this was also a bad movie.
Chris Hemsworth gonna go through his whole life playing terrible part after terrible part but due to his run as Thor he gonna make $600 squillion and live the proper life.
bless that big beautiful bastard.
I haven't seen it but why is it bad ? Reviews have been either highly favourable or said it was complete shit. No middle of the road.
Money wise it failed to make bank but it only cost $32m to make so maybe that was a factor - too ambitious for such a limited budget.
