I wonder how much of our non-striker and the entire takeover debacle is held back because of this CBA stuff? If I was an owner about to acquire a license, I would want to know if I am responsible for another 300k a year out of pocket before I signed on the dotted line.Quote:

Ranko despotovic's name has been linked to the aleague. Not specifically linked to the jets though
Just had a quick look on transfermarkt and their are too many Serbian strikers of a decent level for me to name that are either in their final year of contract or even free agent.
kaluderovic actually has actually had a better career than I thought. Didn't do too bad for roar either. But their are quite a few Serbian strikers a level above him that I'd rather have.
yea he had a pretty good career, least we know roughly where to look now, saying that newy is likely to change their mind at last minute

Beleive HAL clubs can sign any uncontracted up until the registration deadline. So if this player gets a release then we can sign him. After the deadline he waits until January
If we can give away contracted players that want to go overseas to play, why can't anyone else?
