Beleive HAL clubs can sign any uncontracted up until the registration deadline. So if this player gets a release then we can sign him. After the deadline he waits until January

Christ, I made the mistake of going to the Herald article. There are some deadset flogs commenting on there.
So he's playing, at a level, and a standard where his current club is happy for him to leave.
Even the optimist in me cant see much positive in that situation.
