Newcastle football need to man up, make Zone football as strong as possible. 10 team comps across 4 divisions. ZL1 and ZL2 with 3 grades and ZL3 and 4 (if not 10, then the balance) with two grades.
I think it’s unrealistic to have 24 clubs with 3 grades. Focus on strengthening what we have, help out where it’s needed and push on.
Agree this is the correct model and I think 40 zone league teams across 4 divisions is the magic number we should be aiming for. I dont mind the 5 team final series however if it does revert back to a 10 team comp the finals series should go back to only consist of the top 4 teams.Quote:

I get what you are saying and I am borderline on it as well. However I just feel that a team that finishes 5th in a 10 team comp probably should not be rewarded with the chance to play in or win a grand final. Just my opinion though and I respect the argument for it to remain a top five.Quote:
