Perth don't have a leg to stand on. They breached his contract and he is entitled to walk away if he wants. The entire Perth squad can if they so desire.

its interesting and will set a precedent if it goes to court.

His agent was interviewed in TWG a few days ago saying they would ask for a release.

The gentlemens agreement was by the owners. Reportedly 8 out of 10 of the owners agreed not to sign any Perth player who were asking Perth for a release, and asked to join their club. They didn't name the 2 clubs that did not agree to the agreement (but I am fairly sure judging by the rumours that WSW are one of them, and possibly MV are the other), but Tinkler was first and foremost rallying for it.

Can guarantee that the likes of Smurfs Victree etc would happily pick over the Glory carcass and will probably be just waiting until their season is over before getting stuck in

Us on the other hand are pretty good at lying and not living up to promises every other day of the week will be the only club that will honour the gentlemen agreement flying in the face of everything we live by all cause Tinkler and Sage are buddies and what not

I think it's only us and the Wankerers who've started inquiring about players. "Hey guys who wants to leave a bunch of cheats to join a bunch of Muppets who can't win games?"

Does anyone think we will sign another keeper? Not SHOULD we sign another keeper, i mean do you think they realise we only have 1 on the books? If so, who is available?

Brad Jones is having difficulty negotiating a new contract with Liverpool but I doubt he'll come back. The current wages he's on (26000 pound a week) then I doubt he'll come back

Holman is on Paddy's books and we made an offer to him. If not an Inspire player then must be either MacDonald or Bresh.

So Carney is with Inspire now? Not a listed client on their website so I assume its being kept quiet for some reason.

We are at the bottom of the barrel for the A League, we will only get the scraps and the players who are desperate and can't get a gig elsewhere.
Sure we can jag a decent overseas player like Lee and Alivodic but shit I would be very VERY surprised if we were to get a big name ex-Socceroo to come here.

Despite what Stubbins says we have 14 players under contract, so the club needs to do something with Biraz and Carney. I would guess between them their Cap number is at the very least 300k. That's a lot of money that we will need to spend.
