Appears a few ZL1 teams have been struggling against lower league opposition in these pre season matches. Mainly the likes of Cardiff and Swansea. Only getting past a ZL2 team by a goal is a pretty worrying sign with the season starting soon.
This could be a reflection of the increasing talent coming into the ZL2 competition. Speaking to a number of people in a few teams, there has been quite a number of 18 - 20 year olds from the NPL clubs filtering in for various reasons. That quality divide may become slammer between the competitions if this continues to happen.Quote:
