I will be very surprised if the club don't hire Deans full time.
I will also be incredibly underwhelmed if/when that happens.

OK
To be honest, i think it will be Mcbreen.
Local guy, will come cheap as already part of the club coaching staff. Seems to be a pretty popular guy so while we will still be shit, might have a chance at getting a team culture.
.... but mainly the cheap thing!
WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY !
If we're serious we'd be after Muscat.

Actually, James Gardiner has tweeted Lawrie mentioned Sven Goran-Eriksen has expressed interest.

There is no chance Muscat would come anywhere near us as it presently stands
That's rather revealing that article. Wonder how much is true

SGE been coaching in the Philippines
I suppose an HAL gig is the next natural progression when your career is on the downward spiral
If the club did bring in someone like Muscat or Sven then you'd need to ask why wasn't this money available to Ernie for buying the players we needed to be competitive?
I can't imagine Muscat being interested - but if he was I'd e very happy. He's a great coach and doesn't tolerate anyone not giving their all.
Sven doesn't have enough experience with state league quality players to be anything more than a marketing stooge for the club.
EDIT: I stand corrected - did not know Sven was in Philippines.

Yeah the Martin Lee stuff I found more interesting. If he is taking it off the market there needs to be a real sign of intent and more of a presence from him rather than only hearing from mckinna.
Also Ernie saying no to a new assistant? Surely he knows a few people in the football scene he'd like to sit beside.
Saying no to bringing in a new player? He's made some very questionable decisions in the past season and a half but really? Turn down the chance to use someone elses money whilst sitting on the bottom of the ladder? Really
I don't buy it that Ernie was offered money to buy another player and said no.
Lawrie needs to go. He simply cannot be trusted.
