Difficult to watch when if we aren't making mistakes the referee is.
Although the ref didnt cost us the game he let them kick us and we didnt respond. weak as p*ss

Cant hold the squad together. Cant coach to suit the players we have. We cant play the way he wants. Hates our youth.
We need Harry Redknapp. He can get the best out of anyone.
Also seems many players arent playing the way they want. Stiff, unorganized, low intensity. When the subs came on and Plan A was thrown out we attacked more although Sh1tney parked the bus by then.

He made 1 mistake but was the only player to have some spark. If hes a 5 then the others are a 3.
Pisso and couple others had a bit of a go for short periods.

That one was definitely caused by former England International Carl Jenkinson. You can tell he's only here for a holiday. Probably our biggest earner and somehow worse than Ingham or Elsey... Which is a pretty harsh but true statement.

They win in 40 degree heat in Adelaide away and he didn’t give them a day off training before the Sydney game in the heat. No wonder they looked flat. He’s quickly becoming unpopular in the playing group

Jenkinson done **** all in that play yes

But the main issue was Thurgate let his man run straight past him and get goal side of him. When the throw in was then taken the entire team was chasing shadows trying to catch up

Basic defending is to track a man on a throw in and not let him get goal side of you particularly around the box

Make all the excuses you want but Plagues boy is overrated and cost us this goal

Nah Gus has not been producing anywhere the level he is capable of for several weeks now. Reckon he has turned the ball over more in the last month than he has in the last 4 years

I can't understand how at times we can be so fluid and attacking and cut teams apart with movement and quick passing and then we can play like we did yesterday.

They had no idea what they were doing out there yesterday, there was no plan, no movement, no spirit, no effort.

Yesterday was only the second game I've been able to get to this season. The other was the 3-1 win over Wellington and it's astonishing how poor we were in comparison.

Sydney weren't good. They were ordinary. We were ****ing terrible.

The only one who looked remotely dangerous yesterday was Buhagiar. And that says a lot. Why isn't O'Neill starting? We were much better with him on the park. We miss McGarry. Hoff needs to retire. Piscopo is turning into Dimi mk2.

We can't score against a full defence. We have no ability and no game plan to do that.
There is very little movement or attacking runs from our forwards, and most of the times they are ignored by our midfielders anyway, as they seem to prefer a safe pass or a back pass.

We failed to score in 5 out of 10 games (when we scored, we won 4 out of 5 games though)

Of the 9 goals scored so far:
    - 2 came from corner kicks
    - 3 from fast breaks/counter attacks
    - 1 from own goals

which means we only scored 3 times from "normal" play (2 against Wellington, 1 against Adelaide, and they all seemed more like individual "inventions" rather than team play).

Like someone said, we play an attacking possession style that does not suit our players.

I'm expected a big response next game. I suspected they would loose given they played in 37 degree heat a few days before. I think that's a fair excuse, even if others don't
