Gee wiz, I didn?t know that was racism. Harden up you lot.
So are the Suns upset because Dudleys group chat name is taking a pop at them? That does seem a bit soft to be honest. A bit petty from the Thistles but hardly anything to get upset over.
The group name is nothing at all, it's what's in the chat that's the issue.
It's more embarrassing for Dudley to be honest. Fancy having something like that for your players group chat name, as if they're in high school. It's actually a crack up.
There's evidently been plenty said in that chat, but again it only shows their own character. Good for them if that's the way they speak. Obviously someone within the group has thoughts that don't align and now it's been shared around to everyone.
Hard to respect small-minded groups of people like that.
It's football, not s***er!!
...it would be interesting to look at the chat, then it would be also very interesting to read every clubs so called private chats..bet you there is shit on everyone's chat about another club.
...what you name your chat is your business in the end it's a bit lame for my liking and lacks imagination.
.. what you say in it, is also your business until someone makes it public, then you have to deal with it, shake it off or it gets under your skin, this weekend should be interesting if some can't do that.
or is this just smoke and mirrors?
You would be hard pressed to find a group chat for any of the clubs that does not have comments that push boundaries or in some cases go too far. Not making excuses for it but I doubt Dudley are the only ones to have said something unacceptable amongst the private banter of zone league clubs this season.
Pretty ordinary from whoever sent out the screenshot though. If it was a bad as people are saying it should have been dealt with in house.
Like I said in regards to the name of the chat I wouldn’t have a problem with it. Basically in any league in world football if you are successful the chances are other clubs you play against are not going to like you. I wouldn’t take it personally if anything I would take it as a compliment.
Not sure what was in the actual chat but if it did cross a line then that is not on but I am still not sure it should have been shared publicly.
Yes and no. I agree with the dealing with it in house. The counter to that is that the standard you walk past is the standard you accept. Clearly someone with a conscience wasn?t prepared to accept it. Maybe they tried dealing with it and when that didn?t work went outside the circle
I understand group chats probably say plenty of things.
But it just sounds like the general consensus is that racist derogatory remarks are all well and good in 2024, so long as it is in a group chat. Certainly the person who shared the comments is at fault, definitely not the people saying it..
My apologies for thinking otherwise.
It's football, not s***er!!
Name and shame the grub. Zero tolerance remember.
Glass houses mate. Maybe have a think about that before calling out the Azzurri women's player, who's playing legally under northerns current policy. Instead of directing your anger at the player and calling them a man, maybe talk to northern.
Discrimination works both ways, not just what suits your agenda.
I think enough has been said about this. Stuff shouldn't be said and stuff shouldn't be shared around.
Anyway, what are the predictions for the weekend? Looks like a good day.
oh, and before you go pointing. I am qualified to use the 'w' word.
cheers,
plague.
How is what I said discrimination?. If you are born with a 1 X and a Y chromosome you are a male it?s that simple.
Just because a voice in your head tells you something else don?t mean we have to listen to it. I have a daughter that plays and if he plays against her one day and hits her in a 50/50 or worse I?ll identify as being invisible and storm the field and no one will see me do anything.
