Yeh I drove past one Saturday and it was packed! It's good to see you are building a solid base for the club. That's how we did it. Found guys that no matter what the result just wanted to play for the town. We then built around this foundation and now have everyone coming back each season. We are all mates and everyone could do each others job. It takes a year or so but keeping at it eventually pays off and the results will come. Still early days this season too. Hope it shows that this comp is still very competitive and it takes very good teams to play well the whole year an not just a couple of games at the start. Good luck boys

I play 1st grade for a certain team in this comp and I love getting on here and listening to the banter that goes on.
I agree that it's to early to call a certain winner of this comp yet but I think a couple teams know they got handed a football lesson last week.
I think Stocko and berro will decide the front runner for the year. Both teams have taken it to a new level

ROOSTER all your mob can take out of that game is heart. Honestly you guys were terrible. They didn't get into stockos box once. I think I recall them having 3 shots all game from at least 35 yards. Terrible! The game was tight for 45 minutes but that was only on the score board and for the poor finishing from Stockton.
It was a bit of a lesson mate!
I'm a straight shooter and as I said before its way to early to crown a champ yet but in saying that I can say with great confidence it won't be KURRI! No offense but they are rubbish!

Looking forward to this GF replay this Saturday. We have shown class so far this season and I think we deserve to sit on top of the table. Going to be a tough day at the gog but I'm also excited about the challenge of going there and trying not to think about the bus trip home to much lol. Hopefully I don't win the toss again, seems to be a good omen!

Toronto I feel for you guys. It sucks having no players to field a competitive squad. Keep at it the best use can. Plenty of heart to turn up each week knowing what's coming.

I believe this wkds game may well be decided by Dungog. First half Dungog against Simba would of walked away atleast 2 up against the full match, clinical Stockton that played Toronto.
But on the other side of the coin, if we don't turn up to play then Stockton will win with no doubt at all. My opinion.
Never at Dungog have we been able to use some of last years first graders (now res) to fill in for regular first graders, like against Simba.
Just thought I would share that, to show our improvement over the years and How strong the youth is up this way. Especially when our 14's got up 16-1 and 7-1 in the last two outings and 15's and 16's doing similar in some matches.
I live an hour and a half from Dungog and continue to go back every year due to this. Love it!
Great to see Toronto and others doing much the same, with young players given the chance.

It's a ****ing local forum and I'm not going to pussy my post at all. If I think a team was rubbish, I will say so! If a team plays with a lot of heart and give all there got with the limited number of players, I will give the credit they deserve!
As for you clown. I don't even remember seeing a number 58 so you are either very insignificant on the field our you are one of those ressies players that sat there and gave abuse even after they were taught a lesson by our ressies team.

See that's all you can ask for. Improvement. It looks like you will be well placed for years to come with juniors that tented coming through. At the end of the day we can talk as much shit as we want on here. It's who turns up on the day and who wants it more. We were lucky last week and I'm sure if we play like that it will be a pretty shit bus trip home. I'm looking forward to getting up to the gog and testing each other.

Mate I'm not trying to build anything. When I first got here I was just reading previous post and all these post were about stocko being cocky and everyone had a bad opinion. I grew up there and move on to another team over town. I have came back this year so I got on here to stir the pot and also say some truthful things.
