Wanderers looking like they won't have any points deducted. What a surprise!

Goalkeepers anyone??
Honestly I know he isn't as good as Birraz, but BK is an option that I feel is better then some other option people will throw out. People like Lawrence Thomas are not better then BK, so if that's the option then I'd say sign a solid youth goalkeeper with some potential that would be on smaller coin and give BK the run

I'm not BK fan but i have to agree. The goal keeping standard in the A-league is very average. Think about it, out of all the keepers how many are truly better than BK and how many are just as average?
Galekovic
Redmayne
Sorenson
Covic
Young
Tomas / Vukovic
Janjetovic
Moss
Izzo
Basically only Galekovic and Vukovic (other than this season) along with Birraz are significantly better.
Sorenson and Covic probably but are both at the back end of career. The rest are mostly terrible!
WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY !
So geography doesn't help getting people go travel from the Taree region to play football in tje stronger Newy competition as it too far.
Yet you seem to think that having a game in Coffs Harbour which is roughly 2-2.5 times the distance further than Taree/Newy is a great idea as it will see busloads of people do the 9-10 hour round trip to Newy every second week to watch these shit ****s lose??

Pull your head out of your arse, the fresh air will do you good.
point out when I've said this game will see people north of Taree travel to Newy for games?
My point - which you haven't yet managed to understand (not asking you to agree) is that a game will help FOOTBALL in the regional centres, AND could help boost TV rating for jets games.
and that every level of football has a responsibility to promote the game.
If you want to keep clogging up the thread with ridiculous counterarguments based on things I've not said, carry on, but its getting tiresome.
Is the move to take a game to Coffs Harbour part of the A-League's move, which started back in Season 6 for clubs to take a match to a regional center, or is this a money making exercise by the club?
I'm not seeing any reference to a direction from the A-League to "take a game" to a regional center. Just trying to understand the motivation, not questioning whether it is right or wrong.
To be honest I've been waiting for a move like this to occur. We've been the away team for a number of regional games over the last few years with Adelaide, Wellington and Western Sydney. Our last away game was back in Season 6 in Port Macquarie so, in a sense, it's overdue.
While the club will no doubt assist members to attend through buses and the like, the take up will most likely be quite low (look at how many make the trip an hour down the road to Gosford). If the club reflect this in their price for membership, I don't have a problem with it. They should automatically "charge" members for the game under the assumption they will attend.
Realistically, the match is only proposed at this time.

Like it or not the Jets are the team of NNSW. Coffs is a major centre and not that far from Newie. I don't see a problem with 1 game going there. Excellent pitch and people will travel for it from around NNSW.
I get your point
Not think I don't
I just think you are wrong.
The club has a responsibility to their long suffering fans not to shit on them
10k turn up week in week out
To take a game away from them to chase this pie in the sky dream is just showing how out of touch they are with their own community
I take it Arsenal could move an EPL game to the Maracana and pack it out with 80k. Sure it be great publicity for the EPL. Be also great publicity for Arsenal.
But exactly why should they move games away from Emirates and shit on their loyal supporters all in the name of appealing to people who have little interest in them???
You think Arsenal fans in UK who support the club be happy they getting shafted to accommodate their plastic colleagues???
I not
That why Arsenal not do
